On October 30th 2023 at 12:37 PM, A wildfire broke out in the Aguanga community of Riverside County, California. Fueled by strong Santa Ana winds, the fire moved at a dangerous rate of spread. Crews from the ground and air battled the blaze. Thirteen houses were destroyed and another seven were damaged. There were two firefighters injured. The fire burned 2,487 acres. The fire was 100% contained on November 6th, 2023. Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
