Placentia, CA - On the morning of July 1st the newly formed Placentia Fire and Life Safety replaced OCFA in the city of Placentia. The transition included the traditional "role in" of the new apparatus and a flag raising ceremony. Fire Chief Pono VanGieson led the ceremony and shared his vision for Placentia Fire & Life Safety Department. Many dignitaries and citizens were present.
