on June 24th around 1400, a brush fire broke out in Poway along Poway Road shy of highway 67. There were a few structures threatened. Crews from the ground and air attacked the fire. Crews from surrounding agencies assisted Poway Fire Department. The forward rate of spread was stopped at 23 acres.
