NORWALK, CT - The Norwalk Fire Department, with assistance from the Westport Fire Department, responded to a car fire on the Merritt Parkway Southbound between exits 41-40 just before 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 4th. All southbound lanes were closed for approximately 15 minutes while the fire was extinguished. Due to the limited water supply, four engines responded. No injuries were reported.
