At 9:07 pm tonight the Waterford Fire Department was dispatched to 4 MacKenzie Road for the side of the house on fire. Lawrence & Memorial Medic 14 arrived at 9:09 confirming the working fire with flames going up the Delta side.
Truck 15 arrived at 9:10 and stretched an 1.75” hose line to the right side of the home. Engine 42 laid in from the hydrant on the corner of Fog Plain Road and MacKenzie which fed Truck 15. After quickly knocking the fire, crews went inside to check for extension. Engine 51 set up a fan for horizontal ventilation. The New London Fire Department provided the FAST while Waterford Ambulance stood by. The Waterford Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
