Newington, CT. - A shed fire extended to the attached garage of a home at 145 Starr Avenue on January 24th. The fire destroyed the shed and damage the garage and breezeway of the home. The rest of the home received smoke damage. Firefighters were assisted on scene by an engine company from the West Hartford Fire Department. Task Force 51 companies provided coverage for the town. The cause is under investigation.
