New Britain, CT. - Firefighters arrived at 425 Burritt Street with heavy fire on all three floors of the front porches on January 29th. Despite the very windy conditions at the time, firefighters quickly knocked down the heavy flames and prevented the fire from spreading to the rest of the three-story home. Two firefighters received minor injuries. All residents evacuated safely, and two pets were removed by firefighters. The cause is under investigation.
