Crews from Poway and San Diego Fire-Rescue responded to an expanded traffic accident on Poway Road. First arriving crews from Poway Engine 91 discovered two people trapped in a pickup truck on its side. An additional medic unit was requested. Crews were able to cut the roof off the pick up and extricate both vicitms. The vicitims were transported to a local hospital with mild to moderate injuries. Responding crews from Poway Fire Department were Engines 91 and 93. Medics 91 and 93. Battalion 91. San Diego Fire-Rescue Department crews were Truck 40 and USAR 41. The accident is being investigated by the Poway Sheriff's Department Traffic Division.
