NEWBURGH, NY - Winona Lake and Orange Lake Fire Departments responded to Lowes parking lot on December 17, 2024, to set up a landing zone for an incoming MedEvac. Town of Newburgh EMS was treating a burn victim and requested the MedEvac. Town of Newburgh Police were at the scene on State Route 17K, at an auto repair shop, where the male subject suffered burns. Town of Newburgh EMS drove the subject to the landing zone and turned them over to the flight crew where they were then airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.
