GENESEO, NY - Just after midnight, on Saturday, February 1, Geneseo Fire/EMS was dispatched for a fire in the wall at 4928 Warner Road.

Upon arrival, fire chief Andrew Chanler found a fire in the basement under the front door. He further requested mutual aid to the scene for a tanker from Groveland, as well as two additional engines from Lakeville and Livonia fire departments.

The blaze was brought quickly under control with no injuries reported.

Livingston County Emergency Mangement was investigating the cause.

York Fire Department provided a standby during the incident.
