Car Versus Pedestrian in City of Newburgh

Newburgh, NY - The City of Newburgh FD was dispatched to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Lake Street, just south of South Williams Street, on December 11th. City of Newburgh Police had the road blocked while one Mobile Life ALS was treating the pedestrian. Firefighters checked the vehicle involved and assisted with traffic control and an injured party in the vehicle. Mobile Life ALS transported two people to Montefiore St. Luke's Hospital. Pictures by Police were taken at scene. City of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
