Good Will FD responded to reported vehicle striking light pole westbound Interstate 84 in area of mile marker 37.5 on January 21 St. Town/Newburgh Police and EMS was
at scene-vehicle was unoccupied. Town/Newburgh EMS returned to service. New York State Police arrived and assisted with traffic and removing light pole off Interstate.
Firefighters disconnected the battery and made vehicle safe. Vehicle came off car carrier which continued westbound on Interstate. New York State Police investigating the
incident.
