At 0703 hours on December 5th, the Washingtonville Fire Department was dispatched to a report of an MVA rollover on Horton Road in the Town of Blooming Grove. Upon arrival, fire department personnel found a van, down the embankment, on its side with the injured driver trapped in the vehicle.

Once the victim was brought to street level she was turned over to Blooming Grove Ambulance personnel for treatment and transportation to Garnett Medical Center.
The Salisbury Mills Fire Department was placed on automatic response to cover the Washingtonville Fire district, while Washingtonville Fire Department units operated at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Blooming Grove Police Department.
