From September 26th thru September 28^th the Lehighton Fire Department Celebrated the 150^th Anniversary of the Department., On September 26^th an open house was held along with a program celebrating the companies history and dedicating its newest apparatus. On September 28^th A parade was held with numerous apparatus,  bands and community organizations participating from Carbon County and the surrounding area.
