Wingo Park, (Spartanburg County) S.C.– On the morning of July 30, 2024 at Just after 11 AM Wingo Park Fire Department activated along with North Spartanburg for a vehicle crash on I-26 west bound near Mile Marker 15.5. Spartanburg dispatched advised they were being requested for an overturn with possibly 2 subjects trapped. Wingo Park truck 3 responded along with engines and support vehicles from North Spartanburg fire on arrival members found a RV rolled over on its side with entrapment. Firefighters quickly removed the occupants after cutting the windshield. Spartanburg EMS Medic 20 and Spartanburg County Sheriffs were also on scene. Traffic was backed up on I-26 Westbound for several miles due to the incident.
