Firefighter/Paramedic Erin Howell has been named the “Employee of the Quarter” for the 2nd Quarter of 2023.

Firefighter/Paramedic Erin Howell has been an employee since November 2021. Since being hired, she has obtained her Firefighter 1 certifications and recently passed her Hazardous Materials Operations certification. She also taking Fire Safety Educator and waiting to test for that certification. 

Firefighter/Paramedic Howell is an EMS Field Training Officer for the department. She has worked closely with her officers to make Medical Monday less classroom and more scenario-based to be more realistic. 

Firefighter/Paramedic Howell always has a positive attitude, motivation, and drive for herself and the entire team. She really embodies what this line of work is about with an ALL-IN attitude.

Firefighter/Paramedic Howell recently was moved to St 6 where she has had various new partners. 

Firefighter/Paramedic Howell also tackles the dreaded duty of managing station supplies for the North End ensuring we never run out of essentials.

Firefighter/Paramedic Erin Howell is a definite asset to BCFES and we congratulate her on a JOB WELL DONE!!!!
