BUCKHEAD, GA - Outstanding teamwork was displayed among Battalion 6, Squad 4, Truck 26, Engine 27 and Grady EMS on February 10th completing a special ops rescue in 8 minutes. Units worked together to extricate a driver from a vehicle that careened down an embankment in Buckhead just after 4:30 A.M. This low angle rescue involved the use of a coordinated haul system. After being securely fastened into a stokes basket with webbing, the patient was hauled up the embankment and transported to the hospital.
