NEWBURGH, NY - Coldenham FD responded to a reported vehicle fire on Interstate 84 eastbound, in the area of mile marker 30, on July 18th. Firefighters used one line to attack the fully involved small truck. Traffic was stopped while firefighters extinguished the fire. Once the fire was put out, one lane of traffic was reopened. New York State Police then called for a tow truck. The fire is under investigation, but it's believed to have started in the engine.
