On June 21, the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department responded to a residential fire caused by a grill fire that spread into a house using Truck 241 as part of a mutual aid assignment with the Franklin Lakes Fire Department.
According to officials, firefighters from the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department finished fighting the fire while the truck company helped open the building to look for any concealed fire extensions. Truck 241 was released from the scene and put back into service once it was confirmed that the fire had been completely put out and that no more extensions were needed.
