The Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department responded overnight to a two-vehicle collision on Route 208 North on June 19 after one of the vehicles took fire.

Firefighters swiftly put out the car fire, according to officials, and finished overhaul operations to make sure there were no further hot spots. After then, the damaged car was taken off the road by the hired towing company. All travel lanes were reopened to traffic when the vehicle was removed. Wyckoff Fire Department Company 2 and Protection Fire Company No. 1 offered mutual assistance support.
