Fairfield, NJ - The Fairfield Fire Department responded to a report of smoke coming from a building and, upon arrival, determined the source to be a brush fire burning behind a residence that had begun extending to a nearby fence.
Firefighters from Engine 1, Engine 2, and Engine 3 quickly deployed a hose line and brought the fire under control, preventing further extension.
Due to the rapid and effective response of crews, the fire was extinguished without incident.
