Acworth,Georgia; On May 14th 2015, Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services were alerted to 1213 Wade Green Circle for a garage on fire. Multiple callers advising the home was fully involved & responding units reported heavy smoke from the stations upgrading all units. Smoke could be seen for miles. Cherokee County began receiving calls as well reporting heavy smoke on Wade Green Road.
Engine 16, 26 & Engine 8 arrived & established water supplies while crews pulled lines & began a fast attack. Truck 8's crew also went to work.
Cobb County Police blocked off the roadway.
The fire is currently under investigation. The crews done an excellent job is saving the home from a total loss.
