PATERSON, NJ - The Paterson Fire Department held their annual memorial service on June 4th at Fire Headquarters. The service honors the members of the department that have paid the supreme price in the long history of the PFD. Awards for heroism and service were presented. Chief of Department Brian McDermott as well as politicians spoke to the gathered crowd. A wreath was laid at the memorial and taps was played to conclude the ceremony.
