LIVONIA, NY - At 1:09 p.m., June 9, the Town of Livonia Fire Departments (Livonia,Hemlock and Lakeville) with East Avon (FAST) were dispatched to 6655 Coe Road for the report of a structure fire.
Livonia Fire Chief Rich Alexander arrived on location, confirmed a working fire in a single story residence and everyone had safely evacuated.
Due to stubborn fire conditions, lack of hydrants in the area and temperatures in the low 90's, tankers and additional manpower were requested to the scene from Conesus and Geneseo fire departments. Also responding to the scene were Livonia EMS and the Livingston County Sheriff's Office.
There were no injuries reported. The cause of the blaze was under investigation by Livingston County Emergency Management.
