Firefighters Respond to Reported Electrical Fire in Newburgh

Newburgh, NY - Cronomer Valley FD was dispatched to an electrical fire at 517 Third Street on May 17th. Cronomer Valley Command requested one engine from Winona Lake and Orange Lake FD to the scene. Firefighters entered the residence and encountered a smell of smoke. The homeowner had power washed his residence during the day. Central Hudson was called to the scene to check the outside meter and a wire going into the residence. The Town Newburgh PD and Deputy Orange County Fire Coordinator 36-13 were also at the scene.
