TAFTVILLE, CT - At 10:29 A.M. on Sunday, February 23rd, the Taftville Fire Department was dispatched to Hunters Avenue near Hunters Road for a truck fire. Engine 21 arrived at 10:34 A.M. with an engine compartment fire and stretched their bumper line. Engine 22 arrived next and assisted with opening up. The Norwich Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
