BROOKHAVEN, NY - On January 8th, the Brookhaven FD was alerted for a reported residential structure fire on Loughlin Dr. On arrival of 5-3-30, he had heavy fire in an attached garage. 5-3-1 was first due and knocked the fire down. Mutual aid departments responded in and helped with overhaul. All crews went back into service within 2 hours.
