Newburgh FD responded to smoke in a second-floor apartment at 195 Broadway on February 16th. Firefighters arrived, found a light socket smoking, and isolated the source. Code Enforcement was called to the scene. The Assistant Chief took pictures and the owner of the building was contacted.
