Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Assists With EMS Landing Zone

On July 27, at around 10:58 a.m., Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to an emergency medical situation on County Highway 138 in the Town of Broadalbin.


Both the Fulton County Emergency Management Office and Lake Valley EMS were already on the site. After being asked to provide air medical transport, LifeNet 72 was sent to the firehouse.


Members of BKFC set up a landing area for the medical helicopter at the firehouse. The patient was taken by helicopter to a neighboring emergency medical center after landing.


In order to assist EMS operations and guaranty the safe establishment and upkeep of the landing zone, firefighters stayed on the spot.
