During a June 18th ceremony at City Hall, provisional Fire Chief Steve Drennan, Jr., was sworn in as the permanent Chief of Department. Chief Drennan, with 42-years on the job, comes from a family that has served, and protected, the city since 1947, in various ranks with the F.D.J.C. This includes his father, uncles and cousins. Fourteen probationary firefighters were also sworn in as new members of the department.
