On April 24th, Republic Airport Fire-Rescue conducted a live burn drill that consisted of hose handling operations for fuel spills, engine fires, wheel fires, and interior attack, as well as truck operations. East Farmingdale Fire Department was in attendance with Engine 7. The drill was approximately 6 hours long, with 2 hours of classroom training and 4 hours of hands-on training.
