Pooler Fire Rescue operates a 2022 Pierce Enforcer pumper as Engine 601. It’s powered by a 470 hp Detroit Diesel DD13 engine, has a Waterous 1250-gpm midship pump and a 500-gallon water tank and a 50-gallon foam tank. This apparatus has a wheelbase of 175.5” with an overall length of 359.5 inches and a low hosebed. Engine 601 has Whelen LED traffic, scene and warning lights, a grill mounted Roto Ray 4000W warning light and a Federal Q2B siren recessed mounted in the front bumper.
