On December 26^th at 2:02 pm the Topton, Kutztown, Lyons, and Fleetwood fire companies and Topton EMS were dispatched to 125 Hoch Ave in the borough of Topton for a working dwelling fire deputy 21 arrived on the scene at 2:04 pm conforming a working fire and requested the 2^nd alarm which included the Blandon, Kempton, Trexlertown, and weisenberg fire companies and the lower Macungie Fire Department for RIT.  Rescue Engine 21 & Chief 21 arrived on the scene and went into service with two pre connected hand lines one to the garage and one to the rear of the house. The fire was placed under control at 2:40 pm. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal.
