TOWNSEND, MA - Townsend firefighters responded to a house fire on Bayberry Hill Rd on the night of December 9, 2024. Companies arrived to find heavy fire showing from the single-family dwelling and command struck a 2nd alarm, bringing in mutual aid to the scene and to cover. Companies used a defensive operation to knock down the main body of fire.
