Somerset, Ma. Around 8:45 on Sunday morning, November 24th. Somerset firefighters responded to 7 Deer Street for a reported house on fire. Upon arrival Firefighters were met with heavy fire venting from the one story wood frame structure. All family members had self evacuated prior to the fire departments arrival. The home sustained heavy damage including the loss of the roof. Somerset Fire dispatched all on shift personnel and recalled off duty members as well as activated mutual aid response to work and cover empty stations.
