West Manatee Fire District was dispatched to a structure fire mid-morning Tuesday, on arrival heavy black smoke was coming from the eaves. All residents were out of the house but the family dog was still inside. Companies made there way in through side "A" and located the dog and brought it to safety. One of the residents was checked for smoke inhalation. The fire quickly made its way into the attic and out side "C" of the building.
