MONROE, NY - At 11:03 A.M. on November 20th, the Washingtonville Fire Department was dispatched on the second-alarm assignment to a house fire on Still Road in the Monroe Fire District, as the FAST. Upon arrival, the Incident Commander ordered the crew of Squad 580 to ventilate the roof and assist with opening ceilings on the second floor. A second FAST was dispatched. As per Monroe FD personnel, the fire was in the fireplace chimney and extended into the attic.
