Southern Manatee Fire was dispatched to a report of a structure fire, the neighbor reported flames coming from the house next door, on arrival the first unit reported a well involved garage fire. Additional units laid in and checked for extension into the main structure. The family escaped but unfortunately the two-family pets succumbed to the smoke.
