On Sunday, October 20th 2024, the Southold Fire Department hosted a fire prevention open house. The event ran from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Southold Fire Department Headquarters. The event featured a wide spread of fire/ems equipment on display. Members of the department orchestrated a mock vehicle fire and an auto extrication. The open house was an excellent opportunity for the community to learn about the emergency services the Southold Fire Department provides to each member of the community.
