Fall River, Ma. On the morning of October 4th, Engine 4 and Medic 3 were dispatched to the intersection of Jefferson and Kennedy Streets for a reported MVA. The officer of engine 4 took command and requested that Ladder 2 and Heavy Rescue 1 be dispatched to pop a door and medical command requested an additional rescue due to the number of patients. Rescue 1 and Ladder 2 used their battery operated spreaders and cutters to access the passenger compartment and remove the driver who was transported to a local trauma center.
