Brookhaven FD Handles Car That Got Beached in the Bushes

Brookhaven, N.Y- On July 13th at about 3:05 PM the Suffolk County Police were dispatched to a vehicle crash at 2769 Montauk Hwy In Brookhaven. The Brookhaven Fire Department and South Country Ambulance were also called out to the scene. On arrival 1st Assistant Chief of Brookhaven FD Giuseppe Loiacono {5-3-31} advised that he has a single vehicle MVA into some bushes.
Brookhaven FD Rescues 5-3-3 & 5-3-4 responded into the scene and the crews secured the vehicle quickly and efficiently. While fire personnel were securing the vehicle crews from South Country Ambulance tended to the driver. The Driver was taken to a area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. While operations were on going fire police assisted Suffolk Police in Closing lanes and diverting the traffic. All FD took up in about 30 minutes and the scene was handed over to the Suffolk Police Department.
