East Rockaway, NY - Assistant Chief Bristol and Ambulance 408 responded to the Inwood Fire Department to provide standby coverage while crews were dispatched to a reported collapse at the Sun and Surf Beach Club following a severe weather incident.
On August 21, 2026, in Nassau County, New York, the units remained at the Inwood Fire Department for just over an hour, standing by alongside Engine 433 from the Malverne Fire Department.
The crews remained available to provide additional emergency assistance if needed while the incident was being handled.
