Raging Flames Spark Emergency Response in Bohemia

Bohemia, NY - On Sunday, August 16, 2026 in the Suffolk county , the Bohemia Firw Department responded during the early morning hours to a reported vehicle fire.

All Chiefs, along with Engine 7 and Engine 1, responded promptly to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle fully involved in fire. The crew of Engine 7 quickly deployed a handline and worked efficiently to bring the fire under control.

All responding units operated under the command of Acting Chief of Department Scott Mistler.
