King Ferry, NY - The King Ferry Fire Department responded alongside Genoa Volunteer Fire Department and Southern Cayuga Ambulance to a reported two-vehicle motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 34B and King Road.
Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Bill Marsh established command and assessed the scene. It was determined that local King Ferry resources were sufficient to manage and stabilize the incident, and mutual aid fire resources from Genoa were subsequently canceled and returned to service.
Southern Cayuga Ambulance provided patient care and transported one individual to an area hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
