King Ferry, NY - The King Ferry Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway into Cayuga Lake near Fire Lane 6. While units were en route, dispatch information was updated indicating that the incident involved a golf cart with two occupants in the water.
Upon arrival, crews learned that two nearby individuals had already entered the lake and successfully assisted both occupants safely back to shore prior to emergency personnel reaching the scene.
Firefighters and EMS personnel evaluated the individuals on scene before they were transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
