Hurricane Debby may be gone but she left lasting problems, anywhere from 12-23 inches fell in Manatee County. As rivers rose so did the water in neighborhoods. All Emergency Services pulled together to cover the worst hit areas. People were stranded in their cars in high water, houses flooded with no power and many main roads closed due to flooding. Units also had to respond to wires down, gas leaks, MVA’s which taxed manpower.
