Just before sunrise Wednesday morning, Southern Manatee Fire District was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on 30th Ave. On arival they found a full size van fully involved in the middle of the road. Manatee County Sheriffs were called to close the roadway. As Firefighters began to fight the fire, the water reacted with the magnesium inside the van producing sparks.
