Munhall, PA - The Munhall Central Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. responded to a reported apartment fire in the 2000 block of West Street. Rescue Engine 201 arrived first on scene and encountered smoke showing from the apartment.

Crews located a small fire within the unit and brought it under control swiftly. Additional personnel conducted checks for extension and carried out ventilation to clear the structure. The Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s Office was requested to investigate the cause of the fire.

A total of 13 members responded to the incident.
