Around 1:02pm on the afternoon of Thursday, July 16th a citizen reported a vehicle fire to crews at the Preston City Station. Dispatched was notified and crews responded to the area of Route-165 and Miller Road. P-21 arrived on scene to find an active engine compartment fire in a vehicle being towed by a flatbed. A handline was quickly stretched, and the fire was knocked down. P-1 has command, P-22 and P-11 also responded. Thie was FF. Brass's first shift as a full-time firefighter for the Town of Preston.
