Westport, CT - The Westport Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire and arrived to find a pickup truck heavily involved.

Firefighters deployed handlines and conducted an aggressive fire attack, quickly bringing the blaze under control and completing overhaul to ensure full extinguishment. Crews also checked the surrounding area to prevent any extension.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
